The Investment of CDM Projects:Specific Risks and Methods for Avoidance
CDM is newborn, and its rules and procedures are very complicated.This has put CDM projects in front of not only all the common risks faced by the regular projects , but also its specific risks when developing , implementing , and operating, etc, such as the approval risk of declaration , the risk of a new methodology for approval, the delivery risk, the carbon market risk and so on.Recently, there are few researches on how to prevent such risks, and we are just trying to explore some ways to avoid these specific risks in this paper, hoping this will provide some revelation for the CDM project owners.
