Significance and Benefit Evaluation of the Project of Returning Farmland to Forest and Grassland in Western Poverty-stricken Areas --Taking the Longnan City in Gansu Province as an Example
Implementing the project of Returning Farmland to Forest and Grassland is an important task and effective measure of poverty alleviation in ecologically fragile areas.Based on the investigation of post-disaster reconstruction in Longnan city, this article considers the poverty alleviation and ecological management comprehensively.Firstly, this paper analyzes the significances of implementing the policy of Returning Farmland to Forest and Grassland on the aspects of ecological safety, food security and the post-disaster reconstruction in Longnan.Secondly, it dissects the benefits of ecological restoration, farmer income increasing and adjustment of agricultural structure of production in that area, which will provide a theoretical reference for impoverished areas to get rid of poverty to become rich and gain ecological rehabilitation.
