VOLTAGE REGULATION IN DISTRIBUTION GRIDS WITH HIGH RATIO OF DISTRIBUTED GENERATION UNITS

　　Distributed generation-especially from renewable energy sources-poses new challenges,the most significant being voltage band violation during highinfeed low-load times.This paper investigates the potential of direct voltage control by controllable distribution transformers (MV/LV transformer with onload tap-changer) and indirect control by means of power inverters featuring reactive power support.
