The Effectiveness Analysis of STATCOM Between Centralized Configuration and Distributed Configuration

　　The advantages and disadvantages of Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) between centralized configuration and distributed configuration is proposed.Through the analysis of an application case,the distributed configuration of STATCOM can be more effectively provided the load bus voltage support compared with centralized configuration base on the same capacity.It ensures the stability of the end of the load bus voltage,thereby increasing the voltage level of the hub substation.
