Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions of Commercial Banks Based on Strategic Perspective--Case Study of ICBC

　　As the largest commercial bank in domestic,Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has conducted a series of aggressive overseas expansion and got remarkable achievements.From the strategic perspective and combined with the differentiation strategy,this paper analyzes the motivations,actions and effectiveness of the cross-border M&A of ICBC,taking it as an example to discuss the significant impact of cross-border M&A on Chinese commercial banks.
