Study of Currency Flows Based on the Input-Output Model
Leontief input-output model has a wide range of applications.Research regarding theory and its applications are vast,various types of inputoutput models have appeared,but none of them is addressed in currency flow framework.This paper mainly researches the model application in currency flow.The content include: Introduce traditional Leontief input-output model.Analysis the possibility that research multisectoral currency flows using input-output model.Classify all subjects into eight sectors and establish the input-output table of multisectoral currency flows.Based on the inputoutput table,we separate the deposits and loans respectively from the currency inflows and outflows of commercial banks,and then get a converted input-output table.Under reasonable assumptions,we introduced the concepts of direct inflow coefficient,complete inflow coefficient,direct outflow coefficient and complete outflow coefficient.We make detailed analysis of the economic meaning of complete inflow coefficient and complete outflow coefficient.In practical applications,the model we established is meaningful.
