Configuration design similarity analysis based on extension of case reasoning

  To meet performance requirements by reasoning existing product examples,configuration design based on similar instances is needed.However, the description of cus tomer performance requirements is generally vague and there are conflicts between different requirements.Thus it is difficult to match the requirements by searching and an extension method from the side degree of search methods to achieve accurate search for the configura tion design process is proposed.The configuration matter-element model of performance attributes is developed, and the method is implemented using secondary development based on VC++ interfaces of a 3D software platform.The screw air compressors similarity match ing search driven by performance requirements is realized as a case study to provide guidance for the rapid deployment of the product.
