Innovate the core tools of TRIZ and construct new contradiction solution matrix for footwear conceptual design by extension theories

　　The core tool of TRIZ—contradiction solution matrix is the product con ceptual design tool built 40 years ago, which is regarded as the classic tool in the field of product conceptual design.However it is not very effective for the conceptual design of many non-mechanical or electronic products; therefore it is necessary to create some new core tools for the conceptual design of idiographic sort Products.Aiming at the characteristics of con ceptual design for footwear product such as aesthetic design, ecological design, social needs design and so on, 23 new contradiction parameters, 32 new extension principles to resolve contradictions and a new contradiction solution matrix are constructed based on extension theories in this paper.The thought way can be used for reference to construct the contradic tion solution matrix for the conceptual design of specific products.
