Research on Requirement-Function conversion model based-on interaction design theory
User requirements are important sources of product innovation, and the ability to seize users requirements and convert them into product function design is the key to successful products. In this paper, several popular methods to access and convert user requirement to function, including QFD method, Fuzzy Set Theory, Entropy of Processing method, Kano Model and Better-Worse method are analyzed. These methods are limited in that they could not response to all user requirements and describe the performance about converting user requirements into product functions.A new way to allow users participat ing in the product development process is proposed, and a new Requirement-FunctionConversion Model is put forward, combining with TRIZ and Interaction Design Theory, this model makes it possible to achieve the comprehensive user requirements and the visualization of converting user requirements into product function. At the end, the proposed way and model are implemented in a real project.
