A potential capacity research of wind power based on cluster effect modified model
The world energy especially the fossil energy,is exhausting and the road search for the substitution is rough.The renewable energy maybe is a quite good solution except for their intermittent features.Due to the technologic and geographical restrictions,the solar energy and the geothermal energy can’t be widely used.So there is the growing interest in the wind power generation.But the increasing numbers of the wind farms have brought great challenges to the power grid due to the characteristics of volatility and randomness of the wind speed.Therefore,there is a intense need in how to precisely calculate the potential capacity of wind power in the power system.The results can help the regulators to work out a reasonable system operation plan.In this paper,a cluster effect modified model is present based on the traditional linear model.This model has comprehensively analyzed the inner relationship between the load and demand.Otherwise,it is applied to calculate the wind power potential capacity of Guangdong grid power and the result is reasonable compared to the grid installing wind plant project.
