A Review of Hypothesis for Coal and Gas Outburst Mechanism
Coal and gas outburst is one type of coal mine disasters and an unified understanding of its mechanism hasnt been got even we got a long-term study for a long time.An overview of the coal and gas outburst mechanism is made firstly,in which hypotheses are divided into two types according to the location of the starting source of coal and gas outburst,one type means the prominent source is in shallow coal wall and the other is in deep coal wall.Then,after the principle of balance-destroyed steam explosion for pressure vessel is introduced,and the following three aspects are analyzed of (1) the high-stressed coal body can be looked as the container wall for its blocking infiltration under high stress (2) brittle fracturing of the fissure in container wall may happen,and (3) instantaneous desorption and supercharged expansion of the adsorbed gas may happen,the balance-destroyed steam explosion hypothesis is put forward for coal and gas outburst,and in which coal and gas outburst is regarded as the same physical phenomena with balance-destroyed steam explosion for pressure vessel.Finally,the hypothesis model deserves further study by using theoretical modeling and laboratory simulation method because it considers more relative parameters and has clear physical and mechanical significance after analyzing the characteristics of hypothesis model.
