Study on Mechanism Characteristics of CO/CO2 Inhibiting the Methane Explosion in Roadway of Coal Mine

  In order to seek the effect of CO,CO2and mixture of the two gases on the process of methane premixed explosion in roadway of coal mine,the PREMIX code of CHEMKIN 3.7 chemical kinetics packages was used in this paper,and the mathematical model of methane explosion was presented in roadway of coal mine.Through numerical computation,the changing current of reaction rate of key steps was compared because of the effect of CO/CO2 on the methane explosion,and the similarities and differences were analyzed.The computed results show that CO,CO2 and the mixture of the two gases had an inhibitory effect on the consumption of methane,and the inhibitory effect of mixed gas was best.CO2 not only inhibited the consumption of methane,but also played a role of promoting the production of methane,so that it could more effectively inhibit the methane explosion,while CO could not.
