Examination of Nonmagnetic Conductor Suitable for Drive Conditions of Electrodynamic Suspension Device using High Frequency Driven AC Electromagnets
The frequency of the exciting current,electrical conductivity of nonmagnetic conductor and conductor thickness are parameters to have influence for the lift force characteristic in the electrodynamic suspension using AC electromagnets.Moreover,electrodynamic suspension system has temperature rise characteristic by the eddy current induced to the nonmagnetic conductor.The nonmagnetic conductor suitable for drive conditions are examined from the measurement result of the lift force characteristic and the temperature rise characteristic when varying influential parameters.
