Study on High-Temperature Deformation and Practical Application of Ultra High Strength Steel BR1500HS in Hot Stamping
In order to study the influence of process parameters on the hot formability and improve the numerical simulation accuracy of ultra-high strength steel BR150HS,hot tensile experiment was carried out using a Gleeble1500 device at temperatures between 873 and 1073K,and in a range of strain rates between 0.01-1and 1 s-1.The actual stress- strain curves in the samples were obtained.Based on these experimental data,Norton-Hoff model was constructed and expressed the good characterization of its high temperature rheological properties.Material performance parameters were input into the Finite Element Program DYNAFORM.A complex vehicle reinforcing part model was used to analyze the hot stamping process and the simulation results were carried out based on material parameters values. Finally, the comparisons between the simulated result and the practical production have verified the reliability of the Norton-Hoff Model and the model has the high calculation precision.
