Analysis of strength of carbon nanotubes/cement using continuum models
The strength of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced cement is studied through continuum mechanics models.It is assumed that CNTs are distributed uniformly in the cement and perfect bonding exists in the interface of cement and CNTs.A representative elementary volume (REV) as an indicator element of the composite is defined and analyzed.
