Size effects on compressive properties of aluminum hexagonal honeycombs
The objective of this study is to investigate the size effects on compressive properties of aluminum hexagonal honeycombs. Samples with two kinds of cell morphology, including perforated and imperforated cell walls, and several sample dimensions were selected. They were compressed quasi-statically in axial direction under displacement control.
