The effect of temperature on cracks of ultra-high temperature ceramics
Ultra-high temperature ceramics are the most attractive candidates for high temperature applications. This paper presents the effect of temperature on crack of ultra-high temperature ceramics. Finite element method is used to calculate the stress intensity factors to find out the regularities of temperature affecting on cracks under different boundary conditions.
