Experimental Research of Acoustic Emission Features of Waveguide Rod in the Oil
In acoustic testing of special structures,waveguide rods are necessary to connect structure and sensors,also for some special ambient environment.In the paper,the waveguide rod is placed in oil to test the propagation of acoustic wave.The influence of the distance between rod and tank bottom is studied,also is the distance between the signal source in oil and rod bottom end.In some testing environment,sensors cant be connect to structures,such as submarine pipelines,pipelines passing through river,buried pipes,high temperature and high pressure equipment,nuclear equipment,etc.Now,waveguide rods are needed to carry out the inspection 12.When the waveguide rods are brought in,the influence of substance around the rods must be taken into account,for it will affect the coupling state of sensors and the propagation of acoustic wave.So the study of wave propagation in waveguide rods in oil is significant.
