Ferrate(Ⅵ) oxidation of ampicillin in water

摘要：

　　The beta-lactam antibiotics effectively disable biosynthetic enzymes that are necessary for synthesis of bacteria cell wall,therefore enabling the destruction of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.Ampicillin (AMP) is a beta-lactam antibiotic,which has been detected in many wastewater streams.There is concern of AMP in water because it may have negative long term effects on the environment such as toxicity to aquatic life and endocrine disruption.
