Heterogeneous degradation of toxic organic pollutants by hydrophobic copper-schiffbase complex under visible irradiation
Explore the mechanism of photocatalytic oxidation by stable and efficient metal-organic complex as photocatalyst to degradate organic pollutant mimicking enzyme have the meaningful and scientific value of research in the environmental management.A hydrophobic complex of CuⅡbis-salicylic aldehyde-o-phenylenediamine,Cu-SPA,was prepared by simple chemical method in this paper and used as a heterogeneous photocatalyst to degradate organic pollutant mimicking the active centre of Laccases,under the visible light irradiation and neutral condition (at pH=7.0).
