Mechanism of DNA damage by BiOBr irradiated with visible and ultraviolet light
The nano photochemistry material Bromide bismuth oxide (BiOBr),which was prepared by self-contained template build method using hexadecylpyridinium bromide (PCB) as surface active agent and bromide source,was used as photocatalyst.Photocatalysis damage characteristics and the difference of the reactive oxygen species generated by BiOBr under visible light (λ=400-780 nm) and ultraviolet light (λ=200-275 nm) irradiation were studied using calf thymus DNA as the research object.The degree of DNA damage under different conditions was detected by gel electrophoresis and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
