LABORATORY SIMULATION TEST ON DETERIORATION OF SOIL CEMENT STABILIZED IN MARINE SOFT CLAY SITE
Laboratory tests were intended to research the influence of seawater pressure, curing time and cement content on the deterioration of cement-stabilized soil which forms in the simulative marine soft clay sites of Jiaozhouwan Bay,Qingdao,China.Deteriorated depth is defined on the basis of features of penetration resistance and penetration depth curve. The result of research indicated that the deterioration extends quickly under seawater environment, and the deteriorated depth becomes deeper with the increase of curing time.In addition, seawater pressure can speed the deterioration up.With the increase of cement content, the strength of cement stabilized soil increase obviously,at the same time, the deteriorated depth reduce significantly. The concentration of Ca2 + in the cement stabilized soil has a trend to decrease from deep to shallow, the concentration of Mg2 + gradually decreases with the increase of depth.
