PERFORMANCE OF X-SECTION CAST-IN-PLACE PILED FOUNDATION

  The three-dimensional numerical model of X-section cast-in-place (referred to as XCC) piled foundation was used to study the performance of XCC pile.The XCC pile is the new special-shaped pile,which has been widely used in construction.This study focuses on the stress distribution of XCC pile,and the effect of cushion.It has been found that the pile-soil stress ratio increases rapidly near the ground surface.The cushion modulus and thickness have significant effect on pile-soil stress ratio.
