Traditional Husbandary Practices and Major Health Problems of Camels Ion Egypt
The present study was undertaken to provide information ahout cutaneous abscesses,wounds and sores of camels and occurance of pneumonia in them.Also.the role played by drinking animals from contaminated artesian wells was considered,The total number of camels included was 50 0f different ages,sex,and belonged to Matrouh governorate,Egypt.Of these animals,19 showed respiratory signs,20 dead and 11 slaughtered.31 cutaneous abscesses,wounds and sores were ohserved on the humps and feet-pads of most animals.
