Dissipativity Enforcement of Linear Continuous-time Single-Input Single-Output Systems

  This paper introduces a new LMI-based approach to dissipativity enforcement for continuous system.Different from the conventional convex optimization method,the new method based on frequency-selective Kalman- Yakubovich-Popov(FS-KYP) lemma for single-input-single-output(SISO) system.In contrast to existing approaches,the proposed method only uses a minimal number of variables due to the absence of Lyapunov variables.In this way,the dissipativity enforcement problems are derived and expressed in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities which can be easily solved.
