A MODELLING METHOD FOR ENERY CONSUMPTION OF MACHINING SYSTEMS
The perspective on energy behaviours of machining system is a prerequisite for improving energy efficiency of machining systems as a whole.Against this background, this paper proposes a modelling method to capture the energy behaviours of machining systems which involve the complex energy characteristics not only depending on the technical specification related with machine tools and workpieces, but also greatly linked to individual production scenarios. The complex energy characteristics involved are classified into Structure-related characteristics,State-related characteristics,Process-related characteristics and Assignment-related characteristics, and coloured timed object-oriented Petri Net is used to model the machining systems. The former two types of energy characteristics are modelled by constructing the structure of coloured timed object-oriented Petri Net,and the latter two types of characteristics are modelled by applying coloured tokens and associated attributes. The proposed method is illustrated by modelling the energy behaviours of the machining system in the case.
