Preliminary Analysis of ‘7.21 Extreme Heavy Rain in Beijing by using X-band Dual Polarization Radar

摘要：

　　Combined X-band dual polarization radar data and ground-based automatic rain gauge data were used to analyze the extreme heavy rain occurred on 21 July 2012 in the Beijing area.With the synoptic background characteristics,the analysis of the structural characteristics of the radar echo is stressed.The convective echoes showed a variety of morphological and constantly moved from southwest to northeast.
