Study on Method to Achieve Position of Amphibious Vehicle Navigating on Water

  To simulate flow field around amphibious vehicle,vehicle position of amphibious vehicle is an important boundary condition that used to be determined by prior experimental data.In order to compute vehicle position and flow field simultaneously,the simulation is solved based on Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian approach that can solve interaction between vehicle and water.Rigid body spatial motion equations and flow governing equations are integrated to establish a mathematical model of amphibious vehicles navigating on water.Differential equations are solved by finite volume method.Dynamic deformable grid is uscd to construct moving boundary.Weighted recursive estirnation method is proposed to eliminate numerical oscillation in computation.Straightly navigating motion is simulated.Results of vehicle position and resistance indicate that simulations can achieve enough hydrodynamic characteristics.
