Synthesis of SnO2 nanotubes as high performance energy storage material for photocathodic protection of metals

  SnO2 nanotubes were synthesized by a layer-by-layer technique on carbon nanotubes template.The obtained SnO2 nanotubes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).The as-synthesized SnO2 nanotubes coating exhibits high energy storage ability and good photocathodic protection property for metals.
