Discussion on evaluation methods for the environmental pressure of energy consumption in buildings life-cycle

  On the basis of previous research gains,the paper constructs,by introducing quantitative evaluation method in ecological economics,ecological footprint calculating models which objectively measures environmental pressures of energy consumption in different stages in buildings life-cycle as raw material exploitation and building materials production,construction,usage and maintenance,and the handling of dismantled and abandoned building materials,thus environmental pressures by various types of energy consumption are all presented as ecological footprint and the overall quantization of environmental pressure of energy consumption in buildings life-cycle is realized.According to the features of resource environmental bearing capacity,indirect load strength,the evaluating indicator for environmental pressure of energy consumption,is advanced as well to thoroughly evaluate energy consumption in buildings life-cycle and its environmental pressure.Theses quantified computational models disclose that if the energy consumption in buildings life-cycle and its environmental pressure are within the natural bearing capacity,and may measure to what extent buildings are compatible with the ecological environment they exist in.
