Influence of polycarboxylate on thermal properties of cementitious solar thermal storage materials
In the current study, influence of different contents of polycarboxylate on the mechanical and thermal properties of cementitious thermal storage materials was investigated.Compressive strength and thermal properties including thermal productivity, volume heat capacity and thermal expansion coefficient of hardened aluminate cement pastes with different contents of polycarboxylate were investigated to pursue the optimum material design for cementitious thermal energy storage system of solar parabolic trough power plant. The results show that polycarboxylate plays an important role on mechanical and thermal properties of cementitious thermal storage materials. After heat treatment at 350 ℃ for 6 h,compressive strength and thermal properties descended in a certain extent.XRD and FTIR were used to characterize the evolution of hydration products together.MIP was used to characterize pore distribution and porosity.
