Tidal level forecast of Wenjiayan station on Qiantangjiang River based on support vector machine
Support Vector Machine (SVM) is a sort of automatic computerized learning method based on statistical learning theory,which is a new theory in the field of machine learning.Statistical learning theory not only to consider the generalization ability,and the pursuit of optimal results under the conditions of the existing limited information is the best theory for the small sample statistical estimation and forecasting study.Use the support vector machine to set up a hourly non-linear relationship between the tidal based on the tidal data for grasping the regularity of tides and making short-term forecasts on tidal level.The conclusion could provide references for seawall seepage analysis,stability analysis and engineering of safe operation.Examples show that the prediction model based on the support vector machine has higher accuracy,in line with the standards of the hydrological information and forecasting.
