Preparation of nano alumina modified phenolic resin and wear-resisting property
Phenolic resin,N,N-dimethyl formamide,nano-Al2O3 were used as raw materials,DMF as solvent,and the modified phenolic resin was prepared by adding nano-Al2O3 directly.The density,wear resistance,Rockwell hardness,melt flow rate,specific surface area,etc,the morphologies of the samples and composite materials in the crystal components of Al2O3 were observed by optical microscope and XRD respectively.Conclusion:when the mass fraction of nano-Al2O3 is 5%,the hardness of phenolformaldehyde resin reaches the maximum value; the melt rate experiment indicated that the volume rate of phenolic resin decreased by adding nano-Al2O3; phenolic resin wearability reached the maximum when the nano-Al2O3 increased to 16%,then decreased,that because the phenolic resin as a binder in the case of a large number of nano-Al2O3 can not play an effective role in bonding; nano-Al2O3 affects the brittleness of phenolic resin,which makes the phenolic resin structure more stable.
