Prediction of hot deformation behavior of biomedical materials TiNiNb SMA
The hot deformation behavior of biomedical material TiNiNb Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) was investigated by isothermal single-pass compression on Gleeble-3500 thermal simulator with the deformation temperature from 800℃ to 1050℃ and with the strain rate from 0.01 s-1 to 10 s-1.The results showed that the true stress-strain curves of TiNiNb SMA increased with decreasing deformation temperature and increasing strain rate, which indicated that the hot deformation behavior of biomedical material TiNiNb SMA was dynamic recrystallization. The hot compression deformation of TiNiNb SMA can be represented by Arrhenius model. The constitutive equation of TiNiNb SMA under hot compression deformation was calculated by a linear regression analysis The activation energy for hot deformation of the experimental steel is 126.92 kJ/mol.
