Study on operation parameters of capacitive deionization to reclaimed water treatment
Active carbon fiber clothes are used as electrode materials.The paper has studied the main operating parameters which affect Capacitive Deionization (CDI) process,such as operating voltage,flow velocity of feed water,Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) and regenerative method.Raw water is secondary treatment effluent of municipal sewage treatment plant.And the water quality has reached the discharge standard.The results show that it will achieve the best desalination effect under the operating conditions:operating voltage 1.7 Ⅴ,velocity 0.04 rn/min,HRT 120s,the regenerative way of short circuit connection.At the same time,the stability of the electrode materials and capacitive deionization performance are considerate by continuous capacitive deionization-desorption regeneration experiment and the test of cycle current-voltage curve,The experiment results show that capacitive deionization has great stability in dealing with reclaimed water desalination.
