A Review on MFC-Fenton System Used for Degradation of Bio-Refractory Organic Pollutants in Water

　　The degradation of toxic and bio-refractory organic pollutants in water has been of great significance for years,MFC-Fenton process,as a novel cost-effective energy-saving approach,becomes a green and effective alternative for non-biodegradable organic wastewater treatment.This review provides a description of the evolution and present state of MFC-Fenton system.The final part of the review presents application of MFC-Fenton system with a focus on bio-refractory organic compounds removal from water.The future of this technique is also described.
