Research of Natural Radioactivity Level and Environmental Impact Assessment in the Dadu River Region

The main purpose of the article is to investigate the ecological environment problem of radioactive pollution of the Dadu river area in Sichuan. The gamma radiation dose rate from the natural radioactive level of groundwater were investigated and measured.Gamma energy spectrum was measured by gamma spectrometer. The gamma radiation absorbed dose rate is 65 (4.27~213.77) nGy/h.On the basis of groundwater sample analysis,we calculated the internal radiation dose caused by 238U,232Th and 226Ra through the dose calculation formula. The average year annual effective dose and annual collective effective dose were 0.00552mSv and 4.58Sv respectively in the survey area.It shows that the gamma radiation absorbed dose is in a low level compared with the public dose standard limit value, while the average annual effective dose is much lower than it.The result of the radiation dose rate in some individual fields is mainly caused by granite, and away from the residential area,it is not harmful to the living environment.
