Agrosystem Watersheds Nutrient Export Analysis of China
Based on the Global Nutrient Export from Water(S)heds modeling approach and its database,we analyses Global river nutrient exports of different nutrients and different nutrient forms (dissolved vs.particulate, inorganic vs.organic) thus linking the resulting river loads to quantitative assessments of coastal ecosystem health.Recently because of human activities, the loss of nitrogen and phosphorus increasing seriously. In global scale, agriculture non-point source contribute more than 60% of the total export. We use Global NEWS model to analysis agrosystem watersheds nutrient export of China and make comparison with actual agriculture non-point source export of China. And out of that came the recognition that Chinas agrosystem watersheds nitrogen export is about 0.11-90.00 kg·ha-2·yr-1 while phosphorus is about 0.01-8.27 kg·ha-2·yr-1.N/P is around 0.9-60.0,and basically in the range of 0-20.Risks for coastal eutrophication will likely continue to increase in many world regions for the foreseeable future due to both increases in magnitude and changes in nutrient ratios in river export.
