Experimental Research on Nonwoven-Hydrophyte Purification System
Background,Aims and Scope.Water purification system built with biofilm carriers and suitable plants,such as constructed wetland,artificial floating island or submerge bed,biological grid,ecologic stone cage,etc,has been used for sewage treatment and water restoration.These systems are flexible and easy to build,which can operate without too much labor or power.With aquatic plants,most of them are highly ornamental and nature friendly for less disruption on water environment.In this paper,polyester nonwovens was chose as biofilm carriers to construct the purifying cell with submerge plants and floating plants,in order to provide a new method for lake restoration.
