Morphology and Phylogeny of Cochlodinium Geminatum (Dinophceae):A New Record of Unarmored Dinoflagellate from The Pearl River Estuary, South China Sea

摘要：

　　An unarmored dinoflagellate bloom of Cochlodinium geminatum (Schütt) Schütt was re-recognized in the Shenzhen Bay,South China Sea during Mid-August,2011.Morphologic identification of this organism was conducted by means of phase contrast microscope,scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM).Partial large subunit ribosomal RNA gene (LSU rDNA) sequences (D1-D6 regions) and mitochondrial cytochrome b (cob) gene fragment were further used to identify and analyze its phylogenetic relationship.
