Contents of Pb, Zn, Cd, As and S in the Dominant Plants from Abandoned Farmland Around Lead/Zinc Smelter in Gejiu, Southwest China

　　A field survey of lead (Pb),zinc (Zn),cadmium (Cd),arsenic (As) and sulfur (S) contents in the dominant plants of 10 species,included Zae may L.grown in abandoned farmland around a Pb/Zn smelter was conducted in Gejiu City,Yunnan Province,Southwest China.(1) The average contents of Pb,Zn,Cd and As in the plants shoot were 300.7,262.0,16.7 and 46.1 mg/kg,and which in plants root were 759.9,414.2,26.6 and 115.1 mg/kg,respectively.The contents maximum of Pb,Zn,Cd and As in the plants shoot were up to 506.0,589.0,35.1 and 81.8 mg/kg,and which in plants root were 2972.1,748.6,104.8 and 303.9 mg/kg,respectively.
