　　Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are persistent organic pollutants that have been widely used in many countries for industrial purposes because of their excellent stability and thermal properties.A large amount of disused capacitors and transformers could lead to serious leakage of PCBs because of their improper disposal,which would pose a great risk to the environment and human health.It is very important to find safe and efficient technologies for the treatment of PCB-containing wastes.
