Optical Simulation of Phosphor Layer of White LEDs
In this paper,a Matlab(2009a) program was developed to simulate the photonsemitted by the LED chips and the photonstransmit,reflect,and refract in an irregular shaped phosphor layers was calculated.The CCT was calculated at different emergentangle with different layer profiles,such as planarlayer,hemisphe~cal layer(with different diameter),half ellipsoid layer and other irregular shapes.As a result consequence of optimization of angular color uniformity,the trend of configuration of phosphor layer was discussed and analyzed.
