Potential Environmental Gains in Design-For-Recycling Of SSL Retrofit Lamps

　　SSL retrofit lamps are environmentally friendly from an energy point of view.The recyclability of these lamps is often not considered.To this end we investigated three commercially available retrofit lamps.We developed a green criteria and ranked these products according to this criterion.Finally this study gives indications on how we believe these systems can be enhanced for easier recycling.
