Correlation Analysis on the Relationship Between the Scientific Collaboration and the Output of Scientific Research with Academic Influence of GSLIS of UIUC
This paper uses the annual scientific research output of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) of UIUC as statistical objects.The data is collected from SCI-E,SSCI and A&HCI during the period of 1981 to 2011.Then the paper uses some indicators that reflect the structure of collaboration network,the collaboration degree among authors,the scientific research output and its academic influence respectively as statistical indicators to take a Spearman Correlated Analysis on the relationship between the scientific collaboration and the output of scientific collaboration and its academic influence respectively.From the outcome of actual statistical analysis,it can be found that the amount of scientific research output does not have any significant positive correlation with the structure of collaboration network and the Collaboration degree among authors,but the academic influence of scientific research output has a generally positive correlation with the vertices quantity of collaboration network and collaboration rate respectively.
