Requirements of Science & Humanities Integration in University Evaluation
University evaluation exists sdentism rise and humanistic spirit insufficience,mainly manifested in three aspects:too much emphasis on the evaluation object as a quantitative existence,and ignorance of university humanistic value; evaluation system with utilitarianism as the alienation power of humanistic development; evaluation results being enlarged indefinitdy and neglecting the personality traits of university.Integrating with science and humanities in university evaluation should he adjusted as follows:evaluation systems need combine strength type with understanding type; evaluation methods include not only quantitative research but also qualitative research; evaluation criteria need both single type and multiple type.Only when integrating with science and humanities in university evaluation can objectively and comprehensively reflect the essence of university and promote win-win happy ending,including perfecting university evaluation social image and its development to open up more possibilities of space.
