The Efficient Exploitation of Born-digital Resources Driven by Value Assessment
On the basis of the discussion on the connotation of the born-digital resources,the definition of the value of born-digital resources is given from the two aspects which are the commodity value and the non-commodity value.The concept of the assessment on the value of the born-digital resources is proposed and the characteristics of the assessment activities,such as purposefulness,normative,comparative and so on,are put forward.The classifications of the value assessment of the born-digital resources are discussed from the two aspects which are the commodity value assessment and the non-commodity value assessment.Finally,the ideas of the efficient exploitation of born-digital resources driven by value assessment are proposed which are developing born-digital product and exploring harmonious and sustainable development of born-digital resources.
