Bibliometrical Analysis of Papers Supported by the National Social Science Foundation of China:Research Based on CHSSCD
This paper takes the Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Citation Database (CHSSCD) which is independently developed by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as statistical source,and analyzes statistically the growth and the subjects distribution of papers supported by the National Social Science Foundation in China (NSSFC) during 1999-2009,the relationship of growth ratios of the funds input and paper output,the rank among various funds,and the funded paper ratio in core journals by bibliometric methods.The paper also analyzes the NSSFC in terms of strategic orientation of discipline development,funding characteristics.As a result,the guiding effect and leading role of NSSFC to develop Chinese Humanities and Social Science are reflected.
