Evaluation of Science and Technology Innovation Ability of Colleges and Universities in China

摘要：

　　We design the evaluation index system of S&T innovative capacity and use the method of principal component analysis.Taking 31 provinces as samples,we conduct an evaluation on S&T innovative capacity of universities in various provinces of China,and discover that great difference exists in university S&T innovation capacity of different areas.The eastern provinces generally have high capacity,and the western provinces have low capacity,and the provinces in central regions have mid-level capacity.Beijing has the strongest overall S&T innovation ability,while Fujian province has strong strength in innovation efficiency.
