It is possible to take advantage of such systems in order to approach different diseases and evaluate how using eHealth systems could improve the treatment or prevention of illnesses. This paper will illustrate a prototype system, which specifically targets filariasis follow-up patients. Moreover, this paper will describe how the positive implications of this project could represent one step forward to win the battle against lymphatic filariasis2.
